Dan and Mabel Stockwell came to Wibaux/Beach area in 1905 and farmed at Yates and then north of Wibaux.

My mom, Leona Cierzan was born in Wibaux County MT in 1912, to Robert and Johana Cierzan. Robert and Johana homesteaded in Wibaux County in 1910. They gave up farming there in 1926, and the Cierzan family went back to Winona, MN. Wibaux area resident Willie Booth had a car, and provided the Cierzan
family their ride back to Winona. Willie stayed in Winona for a little while before moving back to Wibaux.
